Wadi Rum View Camp
Wadi Rum View Camp is located within the protected area in the heart of Wadi Rum. The camp is about 15 km from the visitor center and 10 km from Wadi Rum village. You can watch a beautiful sunset from the dunes and rocks right next to the camp.

We offer a variety of different tent sizes, including single, double, triple, quadruple, and family tents, so you are sure to find the right accommodation for you. All tents have comfortable beds and we provide pillows, blankets, sheets and towels. If you wish to sleep outside on the nearby sand dunes, we can provide you with blankets and mattresses at no additional charge.

During the cooler months, you can sit around a warm fire in the communal tent, where you’ll hear Bedouin music and ancient songs and stories handed down through generations. In the summer months, the campfire is outside, so you can enjoy the entertainment and watch the stars at the same time. Bedouin tea will always be available, because this is Bedouin hospitality. In our camp you will enjoy a traditional Bedouin dinner cooked in an underground oven.

All tents are equipped with light bulbs and we also have a charging station for your cell phones and cameras. We also have European style toilets and showers.

About food:
We prepare the traditional Bedouin dinner by cooking it in the “zarb”, which is an underground oven covered with sand. The long cooking process produces delicious, subtle flavours. In addition to the main course we have rice, salad, yogurt, bread and soup and we also offer vegetarian dishes.

Breakfast:
zaatar (bread dipped in a mixture of olive oil and thyme.) We also serve jams, eggs, cheese, yoghurt, etc. Breakfast is light by design so you can quickly be on your way, whether that means touring with us, or returning to the village to continue your travels.

Lunch:
bread, hummus, salad, tuna, beans, eggs, and various hot dishes (such as eggs with tomatoes). Every lunch is a little different.

Dinner:
Dinner is one of everyone’s favorite parts of the trip. It usually consists of zarb, a traditional Bedouin meal cooked underground. Sometimes we change it up by serving a delicious ‘Bedouin BBQ’ cooked over an open fire. Side dishes include salads, soups, rice, vegetables, bread and fruits.

You will not be able to avoid the Bedouin tea that is served in every tent you will visit. It is spicy and sweet and is usually flavored with mint and/or sage. Truly an experience not to be missed.

We also offer free bottled water.

And at night we have a cool fireplace area where you can sit and listen to Bedouin stories and music and dance under the stars of Wadi Rum.

Cancellation:
Please be aware that cancellation is 2 days prior to the date of arrival and if you cancel in the last 2 days prior to arrival, you will be charged the full charge of what you booked.
